Singer
On April 21st of 2023, I released my first single on all major streaming platforms. The cover of “Girl Crush” was something I had been working on for months leading up to that point, along with 3 years of vocal lessons that I had started in mid 2020 as a pandemic-activity.
I always enjoyed the act of singing and getting lost in music. At a young age, my mind would wander and create epic and dramatic music videos to whatever tune was playing on the radio as my parents drove around.
While I never considered myself particularly gifted vocally, or saw it as a real career path, I thought I’d give it a try as most activities shut down during the COVID pandemic era. While frustrating at times, being able to see the real progress my voice made gave me the confidence to create a new life goal of adding my own songs to the immense and beautiful library of music that has been amassed and made available.
Actor
From a young age, I was drawn to the lives and stories explored on TV and in Film. The idea that you can live countless lives and have fantastical experiences as an actor is thrilling to me.
One of my favorite aspects of a professional wrestler was the onscreen and live acting element before, during, and after actual physical confrontations. Outside of sports entertainment, I dabbled in acting by making my own short film, “Limbo”, as well as background acting roles for HBO’s “The Deuce” and Amazon Prime’s “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”.
I am currently taking classes with the Barrow Group center for performing arts as a way to gain a more formal education on acting and explore the medium further.
Professional Wrestler
After accidentally stumbling across an episode of WWE Smackdown in 2004, I became instantly hooked on professional wrestling. What started as childhood fanaticism grew into a real desire to lace up a pair of boots and make a real attempt at being part of the action.
After initial training in 2013-2013, I was active as an independent professional wrestler under the ring name of “Andros” in the NY/NJ area from October 2014 through April of 2019. After stepping away, I wasn’t sure if I would ever perform again in the squared circle.
In 2023, the stars aligned and I was able to make my return to professional wrestling on September 2nd, at my home away from home with the ZMAK promotion based out of Piraeus, Greece. Not only was this a monumental evening for me because of my return, but ZMAK would be taping its first two episodes for the ANT1+ streaming service. It was a fantastic evening that saw me compete in both a tag match and singles match.
Might the future hold more for Andros?
